Graduation is the dream of all students and to achieve it, students must of course follow long procedures, such as: lectures, research, writing scientific papers, and others. Graduation is an affirmation or inauguration ceremony for someone who has taken education, graduation is also a sign of graduation of students who have taken their studies at a university.
PGRI Palembang University on April 5-8 2021 held a face-to-face graduation for undergraduate and postgraduate degrees at the Novotel Palembang Hotel. The 4th day of graduation was attended by the Chairperson of the South Sumatra PGRI H Ahmad Zulinto, S.Pd., M, M represented by the Secretary of the South Sumatra PGRI Drs. H. Lukman Haris, M.Si and the YPLP ranks of PT PGRI Sumsel Province, Head of YPLP PT PGRI Sumsel Hj Meilia Rosani, S.H., M.H represented by the Secretary of YPLP PT PGRI Sumsel Drs. Surmana, M.M and staff, Rector of the University of PGRI Palembang Dr. H. Bukman Lian, M.M., M.Si, CIQaR and staff.
Graduation is part of a series of open senate meetings which were opened directly by the chairman of the senate at PGRI Palembang University H. Bukman Lian, M.M., M.Si, CIQaR.
A total of 1,351 students participated in the graduation procession. By maintaining strict health protocols, all graduates are required to use a mask plus a face shield, and wash their hands and measure their body temperature before entering the event room.
The graduation this time is divided into four stages and as many as 37 students of the Faculty of Engineering consisting of 25 electrical engineering study programs, 5 chemical engineering study programs and 7 civil engineering study programs attended the fourth stage graduation which was held on Thursday, April 8, 2021.
