Workshop / Thesis Writing Training Session 2, Faculty of Engineering, University of PGRI Palembang

Thesis, for an undergraduate student is absolute, an undergraduate student will in the end write a thesis, because it is one of the graduation requirements for him. Thesis is a study that departs from a problem / phenomenon, the problem or phenomenon will later be analyzed so that it reaches a knowledge that can be justified, or even can provide a solution.

Writing a thesis is not easy, it takes many times to read, write, analyze, revise, consult and so on. Departing from these problems arose an initiative from the Faculty of Engineering, University of PGRI Palembang to hold a Thesis Writing Workshop, which aims to provide understanding and guidance to Engineering Faculty students so that in thesis writing they can write properly and correctly.

Thesis writing workshop session 2 of the Faculty of Engineering, PGRI University of Palembang was held on April 10, 2021 at the Faculty of Engineering Hall, followed by 20 students. With details of 14 people participating in the offline training and 6 people online through the zoom application. The workshop which was opened by Aan Sefentry, S.T., M.T as Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Engineering. In its implementation, the workshop was divided into four sessions. In the first session, Amiwarti, S.T., M.T presented a resource on the Procedures and Requirements for Student Thesis Activities, Adiguna, S.T., M.Si explained material on Academic Policy, Faculty of Engineering presented as the second resource. Then appear as the third resource person Emidiana, S.T., M.T with material on Thesis Writing Format and appear as the fourth resource person Muhrinsyah Fatimura, S.T., M.T with material on Citation, Format and Journal Submit.

The workshop event was closed with a question and answer session between participants and presenters.
