The Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, University of PGRI Palembang, participated in the recess hearing meeting for a working visit to the electoral district for members of the Regional Representative Council of the Republic of Indonesia (DPD RI) to the University of PGRI Palembang and the DPD of South Sumatra Province. The activity which was held on Monday, August 2, 2021, took place in the PGRI South Sumatra meeting room. With the material “Implementation of Law no. 14 concerning Teachers and Lecturers”.
This activity was opened directly by the Chairman of the South Sumatra PGRI Mr. H. Ahmad Zulinto, S.Pd., M.M which was attended by the Chancellor of the Univ. PGRI Dr. H. Bukman Lian, M.M., M.Sc., CIQaR, Vice Chancellor II Dr. Yasir Arafat, S.E., M.M., CIQaR, Vice Chancellor III Drs. Sukardi, M.Pd. along with the ranks, the Deans of each Faculty of the University of PGRI Palembang, the Director of Postgraduate and Assistant Director of the University of PGRI Palembang and staff from Hj. Eva Sundari as the representative senator of South Sumatra. Meanwhile, Mrs. Hj. Eva Sundari was present via videocall.
With this discussion, it is hoped that in the future both the University and the DPD members will have the same direction, goals and views regarding the implementation of Law no. 14 about teachers and lecturers.
