Implementation of the Thesis Session of the Faculty of Engineering, Electrical Engineering Study Program, PGRI Palembang University Odd Semester Academic Year 2021/2022

Thesis is a scientific work that must be written by students as part of one of the requirements to obtain a bachelor’s degree. And to test the truth of the thesis material, it is necessary to hold a thesis trial or a comprehensive trial. Students who are allowed to take part in this thesis trial are students who have met various administrative requirements. In addition, the student has completed all courses as one of the requirements that must be taken. Students are asked to present their thesis in front of the examiner. This is done to determine whether they are eligible to hold a bachelor of engineering (ST) degree. Meanwhile, the purpose of the thesis trial or comprehensive session is to assess students’ academic insight, abilities and depth, assess students’ reasoning and analysis abilities and assess students’ abilities in developing theories that are in accordance with the scientific disciplines of the study program.

Faculty of Engineering, University of PGRI Palembang, Electrical Engineering Study Program held a thesis trial for two days on January 14 and 15, 2022, at the Electrical Laboratory, Faculty of Engineering, 1st Floor, Business and Science Center Building, Universitas PGRI Palembang. Friday, January 14, 2022. The Electrical Engineering Study Program held a thesis trial which was attended by four (4) participants. The following are the names of students who took part in the thesis trial: 1. Henry Anggoro Putro, 2. Beni Ardo, 3. Festian Yanuar Saputra, 4. Dendi Indirwan. The names of the examiners: 1. Ir. Saleh Al Amin, MT., 2. Emidiana., ST., M.T., 3. Nita Nurdiana, S.T., M.T., 4. Irine Kartika P, S.T., M.T., 5. Perawati S.T., M.T. Then continued on Saturday, January 15, 2022 with four (4) participants. The following are the names of students who took part in the thesis trial: 1. Benny Hidayat, 2. Jaya Saputra, 3. Haidar Rudin, 4. Wendy Juniar Akbar. The names of the examiners: 1. Emidiana., ST., MT, 2. Nita Nurdiana, ST., MT, 3. Irine Kartika P, ST, MT, 4. Abdul Aziz, ST., MT, 5. Yudi Irwansi, ST, MT, 6. Perawati ST, MT

After going through several thesis trial sessions, students who have carried out thesis trials and are declared to have passed are entitled to take part in the graduation.
