As a first step in entering the Even Semester of the 2021/2022 Academic Year which will start on Tuesday, March 2, 2022, the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas PGRI Palembang held a lecturer meeting on Tuesday, February 22, 2022. The meeting was held in the Hall of the Faculty of Engineering, 1st floor of Building D, University PGRI Palembang is a routine agenda that is held every time entering a new semester. All lecturers are required to attend this meeting. This lecturer meeting was chaired and opened directly by the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Mr. Adiguna, ST., M.Sc., the Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Mr. Aan Sefentry, ST., MT, all Heads of Study Programs and Permanent Lecturers of the Foundation (DTY) from three Study Programs, Head of the Division . TU, Finance and Personnel, Heads of Subdivisions and managers of the Faculty of Engineering.
The agenda carried out in the meeting was the discussion of lecture preparation, such as: preparation of limited face-to-face learning and class schedules and academic calendars, preparation for accreditation of chemical and civil study programs, preparation for the implementation of student thesis writing workshops, use of SISFO for all lecturers, plans for opening employee class, Community Service (PPM), Journal and Lecturer Performance Burden (BKD),
The Dean in his speech emphasized that “there needs to be a change for the better, both in the fields of teaching, research and service, every lecturer and student can access the documents that have been provided on the faculty web to be used to support lecture activities”. The Faculty of Engineering, Universitas PGRI Palembang is committed to providing the best service through the Tri Dharma College activities including education and teaching, research and development and community service.
The Faculty of Engineering is currently using the Online Academic Information System (SISFO) to provide convenience to users (lecturers and students) in online campus academic administration activities such as making class schedules, filling out study plan cards (KRS), paying Student Tuition Fees (UKM). ), filling in grades, processing data for lecturers and students and so on using only mobile phones. This system can also function as a support for data analysis in determining campus decisions.
