Signing of Cooperation Agreement (PKS) and Implementation Arrangement (IA) Between Faculty of Engineering, University of PGRI Palembang and Faculty of Engineering, University of Lampung

Along with the rapid development of the world today, both covering the fields of education and technology, collaboration with all parties from all lines is needed, including cooperation between universities. This collaboration needs to be carried out for the growth and development of related tertiary institutions, while the intent and purpose of this collaboration is as a tool for conducting joint education on “Implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education in the fields of Education, Research, and Community Service, as well as the Independent Campus Learning Program”.

The Faculty of Engineering, University of PGRI Palembang on Tuesday (30/05/2023) at the Meeting Room of Building A, Faculty of Engineering, University of Lampung (UNILA), has implemented a Cooperation Agreement with the Faculty of Engineering, University of Lampung. The signing of the Cooperation was carried out by the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, University of PGRI Palembang and the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, University of Lampung. In addition to the Cooperation Agreement, on this occasion an Implementation Arrangement (IA) was also carried out between the Electrical Engineering Study Program, the Chemical Engineering Study Program and the Civil Engineering Study Program at each university. Meanwhile, from the Faculty of Engineering, University of Lampung, the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Dr. Eng. Ir. In his remarks, the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, University of Lampung, Dr. Eng. Ir. Helmy Fitriawan, S.T., M.Sc said, “Thank you for visiting the Faculty of Engineering at the University in order to follow up on the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Chancellor of the University of Lampung and the Chancellor of PGRI Palembang University, in addition to signing the collaboration there will be discussions within the framework of the collaboration. Apart from being useful for fulfilling the Key Performance Indicators (IKU), it is indeed necessary to implement every collaboration that is carried out so that it gets more value. Hopefully with the establishment of this collaboration there will be activities that are more real and hopefully can provide benefits for all of us “. In line with that, the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, University of PGRI Palembang, in his remarks said, “Thank you to all the Academic Community of the Faculty of Engineering, University of Lampung, who have taken the time to receive us. In accordance with the direction of the Chancellor of the PGRI Palembang University, the intent and purpose of our visit at this time is the implementation of the memorandum of understanding that has been carried out. And as an initial stage of this collaboration, we want to cooperate in terms of journal reviewers and it is hoped that in the future we will continue to collaborate in other fields. Hopefully the existing friendship can provide benefits “.

After the remarks, the event continued with the introduction and signing of IA and discussion. The event which took place in a friendly and orderly manner ended with a visit to the laboratory facilities owned by the Electrical Engineering Study Program, the Chemical Engineering Study Program and the Civil Engineering Study Program, Faculty of Engineering, University of Lampung. Hopefully in the future both parties will get mutually beneficial benefits and synergize well in the implementation of the Tridharma of Higher Education and the Independent Campus Program.
