This activity was attended by Adiguna, S.T., M.Si as the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Head of Learning Academy Mr. Safaruddin.
Adiguna, S.T., M.Si expressed his gratitude to PT. Semen Baturaja, “We are very grateful to PT. Semen Baturaja who has been willing to provide internship opportunities for UPGRIP students. We also hope that later on, interns will be able to adapt and explore information and real work experience at PT. Baturaja Cement. In the Independent Learning-Independent Campus program, one of the programs that is most emphasized is student internships that can be taken outside the study program. This program provides opportunities for students to take learning activities outside the study program for three semesters as well as opening up opportunities for students to do internships in the existing Industrial World Business World (DUDI). On this basis, it would be better if UPGRIP could cooperate with PT. Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tbk so that later our students can do work practices or internships, while the proposed collaboration is related to the Tri Dharma of Higher Education such as education, research, and community service.” he explained.

Semen Baturaja fully supports the Independent Learning-Independent Campus program from the Ministry of Education and Culture by stating that it is willing to accept UPGRIP students. Semen Baturaja is ready to provide this learning platform for UPGRIP students as a form of apprenticeship outside the UPGRIP Campus which is part of the Merdeka Campus – Merdeka Learning program. Not only learning, we will also provide real work experience so that later we are able to adapt in the real world of work.”
