The collaboration between the University of PGRI Palembang (UPGRIP) and the University of Lampung (Unila) is getting closer with the visit of the Faculty of Chemical Engineering, University of Lampung to the Faculty of Engineering, University of PGRI Palembang, Monday (10/06/2023) at Hall H. Usman Madjid, 5th floor of Building Palembang PGRI University Library. This visit is a form of implementation of the cooperation that has been carried out by the two institutions.
PGRI University Chancellor Dr. H. Bukman Lian, M.M., M.Si received directly the arrival of Unila lecturers and students, Deputy Rector II Dr. Yasir Arafat, M.M., CIQaR., Deputy Rector III Assoc. Prof. Drs. Sukardi, M.Pd., Dean of the Faculty of Engineering Ir. Amiwarti, S.T., M.T., Deputy Dean Abdul Azis, S.T., M.T., Head of TU Sri Mulyati, S.T., M.Pd., Head of subdivision. Student Affairs, Academic and Cooperation Endang Kurniawan, S.T., Ka. Library, Equipment and Public Relations Unit of the Faculty of Engineering Ibrahim Ardhana Kusuma, S.E., Head of the Chemical Engineering Study Program Rully Masriatini, S.T., M.T., Head of Chemical Engineering Laboratory Aan Sefentry, S.T., M.T and Permanent Lecturer of the Chemical Engineering Study Program, Head of the Chemical Engineering Department Unila Yuli Darni, S.T., M.T., Lecturer in Chemical Engineering Muhammad Haviz , S.T, M.T., Panca Nugrinita, S.T., M.T and Chemical Engineering students from both UPGRIP and Unila.
In his speech Ir. Amiwarti, S.T., M.T said, “Thank you for the arrival of the Unila Chemical Engineering lecturers and students, this is the first step in following up on the mutually agreed cooperation agreement. Hopefully it will continue with other positive activities and continue to provide benefits to both parties. Welcome to PGRI Palembang University”.
In line with that the Head of the Chemical Engineering Department of Unila Yuli Darni, S.T., M.T in his remarks said, “Thank you to the Chancellor of PGRI Palembang University and staff who took the time to receive our visit, thanks also to the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering UPGRIP and staff, Head of the Program UPGRIP Chemical Engineering Studies and Lecturers and student children. We really appreciate this extraordinary welcome, hoping that one day UPGRIP lecturers and students will be willing to visit Unila so that they can further strengthen the relationship between the two parties. Hopefully this activity will provide benefits.
After the opening ceremony was closed by giving souvenirs and taking photos together. Then it was continued with introductions between the student association administrators and dialogue. The visit ended after conducting a review of the Chemical Engineering laboratory and workshops owned by the Faculty of Engineering, University of PGRI Palembang.
