Thesis is a scientific work that must be written by students as part of one of the requirements to obtain a bachelor’s degree. And to test the truth of the thesis material, it is necessary to hold a thesis trial or a comprehensive trial. Students who are allowed to take part in this thesis trial are students who have fulfilled various administrative requirements. In addition, the student has completed all courses as one of the requirements that must be taken. Students are asked to present their thesis in front of the examining lecturer. This is done to determine whether they deserve a bachelor of engineering degree (ST). While the purpose of holding a thesis trial or comprehensive trial is to assess students’ insights, abilities and academic depth, assess students’ reasoning and analytical abilities and assess students’ ability to develop theories that are in accordance with the scientific disciplines of the study program.
The Electrical Engineering Study Program, Faculty of Engineering, University of PGRI Palembang held a thesis session on Tuesday, July 18 2023, at the Hall of the Faculty of Engineering, Floor 2, Building D, Universitas PGRI Palembang.

After going through several thesis trial sessions, students who have carried out the thesis trial and who are declared to have passed are entitled to take part in the judiciary.
