Graduation is the dream of all students and to achieve it, of course students must follow long procedures, such as: lectures, research, writing scientific papers, and others. Graduation is a confirmation or inauguration ceremony for someone who has studied, graduation is also a marker of graduation for students who have studied at a university.
Palembang PGRI University on Wednesday 24 May 2023, held the 34th Bachelor (S-2) graduation, 60th Bachelor (S-1) and 21st Diploma Three (D-3) graduations, face-to-face facing the Ballroom of the Wyndham Hotel OPI Mall. Attended by the Governor of South Sumatra H. Herman Deru, Prof. Dr. Iskhaq Iskandar, M.Sc., represented by the administrative head of LLDikti region II Fansyuri Dwi Putra, SE., M.M., General Chairperson of PB PGRI Prof. Dr. Unifah Rosyidi, M.Pd was represented by the Head of BPLP PGRI Prof. Dr. Supardi US, M.M. M.Pd., Head of PGRI South Sumatra Province as well as Supervisor of BPH PB PGRI at Palembang PGRI University H. Ahmad Zulinto, S.Pd., M.M., Chair of BPH PB PGRI Jambi Budiyanto, S.Pd,.M.Pd, Chair of YPLP PGRI province Sumsel Hasanuddin, S.Pd., M.Sc., Head of BPH PB PGRI at PGRI Palembang University, Dr. Hj. Meilia Rosani, S.H., M.H., and staff, Chancellor of PGRI Palembang University Dr., H. Bukman Lian, M.M., M.Si, CIQaR., Plh. Vice Chancellor I, Vice Chancellor II and Vice Chancellor III, Chairperson and Members of the Senate of the Deans, Plt. Postgraduate Director and staff, Head of Bureau, Unit Leaders, Managers, Lecturers, graduates and other invited guests.
At the 60th undergraduate graduation, 34 students from the Faculty of Engineering took part in the graduation procession, which consisted of 10 graduates from the Electrical Engineering Study Program, 8 graduates from the Chemical Engineering Study Program and 16 graduates from the Civil Engineering Study Program.
The Faculty of Engineering is committed to continuing to provide its best service to the community and especially to students, and will continuously improve the quality of its graduates so that later they can be easily absorbed in the world of work. It is hoped that all graduates can give pride and bring a good name to PGRI Palembang University. And hopefully they can contribute and take part optimally in their respective fields with various works and dedication to society, nation and state.
During this graduation activity, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between BPH PB PGRI at PGRI Palembang University and BPH Jambi. The memorandum of understanding was signed by the Chairman of the BPH PB PGRI at Palembang PGRI University Dr. Hj. Meilia Rosani, S.H., M.H with the Chairperson of BPH PB PGRI Jambi Budiyanto, S.Pd,.M.Pd accompanied by the Head of Administrative LLDikti area II Fansyuri Dwi Putra, SE., M.M, BPLP PGRI Prof. Dr. Supardi US, M.M. M.Pd, Chairman of the South Sumatra PGRI H. Ahmad Zulinto, S.Pd., MM, Chancellor Dr. H. Bukman Lian, M.M., M.Sc., CIQaR as well as BPH PB PGRI administrators and officials at PGRI Palembang University.
