Thesis is a scientific work that must be written by students as part of one of the requirements to obtain a bachelor’s degree. And to test the truth of the thesis material, it is necessary to hold a thesis trial or a comprehensive trial. Students who may take part in this thesis trial are students who have met various administrative requirements. In addition, the student has completed all courses as one of the requirements that must be taken. Students are asked to present their thesis in front of the examiner. This is done to determine whether they are eligible to hold a bachelor of engineering (ST) degree. Meanwhile, the purpose of the thesis trial or comprehensive session is to assess students’ academic insight, abilities and depth, assess students’ reasoning and analysis abilities and assess students’ abilities in developing theories that are in accordance with the scientific discipline of the study program.
Faculty of Engineering, University of PGRI Palembang, Electrical Engineering Study Program held a thesis session for two days on June 23 and 24, 2021, at the Electrical Laboratory, Faculty of Engineering, 1st Floor, Business and Science Center Building, Universitas PGRI Palembang. Wednesday, June 23, 2021, the Electrical Engineering Study Program held a thesis trial which was attended by four (4) participants. The following are the names of students who took part in the thesis trial: 1. Reksi Anjasmara, 2. Muhammad Ruslan, 3. Deden Dendi, 4. M. Rahmat Haryanto. The names of the examiners: 1. Abdul Aziz, ST., M.T., 2. Ir. Saleh Al Amin, MT., 3. Emidiana., ST., M.T., 4. Nurse, S.T., M.T., 5. Irine Kartika P, S.T., M.T., 6. Yudi Irwansi, S.T., M.T.
Then continued on Thursday, June 24, 2021 with four (4) participants. The following are the names of the students who took part in the thesis trial: 1. Heru Kurniawan, 2. Indra Bayu Sukma, 3. After going through several thesis trial sessions, students who have carried out the thesis trial and who have passed are entitled to take part in the graduation.
