The Assisted Village is a community development program with the target location of a village that meets the criteria to become a guided village, developing a guided village is the right and strategic choice for the benefit of national development. This program is believed to have a positive impact, namely fostering human resources in rural areas with an educational approach.
As a manifestation of the implementation of the Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi, the Faculty of Engineering, PGRI Palembang University and the Jejawi sub-district government, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency (OKI) on Saturday, February 20, 2021 at H. Aidil Fitri Syah Hall, 5th Floor, Business Building and University Science Center PGRI Palembang, has collaborated and signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) or a Memorandum of Understanding between the two parties. The Faculty of Engineering in this case was represented by the Dean, Mr. Adiguna, S.T., M.Si and the Jejawi District Government, in this case represented by the Head of Jejawi Sub-District OKI Regency Mr. Susanto, S.Pd., M.M. Also attending the event was Deputy Chairperson of PT PGRI YPLP, ??Drs. H, Djama’ani Djakfar, M. Pd., Vice Rector II for personnel and finance, Mr. Dr. Yasir Arafat, SE., M.M., Vice Rector III for student affairs Drs. Sukardi, M., Pd., And all academicians of the Faculty of Engineering as well as the Head of Jejawi Village Mr. Zukarnain, S.E.
With the existence of a memorandum of understanding and the declaration of Jejawi village as a fostered village, it is hoped that the two parties can carry out integrated, synergic, and continuous cooperation in the framework of cooperation including providing motivation, increasing knowledge and changing behavior in order to improve community health status, apply the knowledge that has been obtained. in lectures, strengthen the family relationship between the Higher Education and the target villages.
