39th Yudisium and Inauguration of Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Faculty, PGRI University of Palembang Academic Year 2020/2021

The Faculty of Engineering, Universitas PGRI Palembang on Saturday, February 20, 2021, held the 39th Yudisium event for the 2020/2021 academic year.A total of 37 students consisting of 25 electrical engineering study programs, 5 chemical engineering study programs and 7 civil engineering study programs have been confirmed as graduates on this special day.

The 39th graduation ceremony and undergraduate inauguration were held at the Hall H. Aidil Fitri Syah, 5th floor of the Business Building and Science Center of the PGRI Palembang University, chaired by the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, PGRI Palembang University, Bpk. Adiguna, ST, M.Si, attended by the Deputy Chairman of YPLP PT PGRI Drs. H, Djama’ani Djakfar, M. Pd., Chancellor of the PGRI Palembang University represented by the Vice Rector II for personnel and finance, Mr. Dr. Yasir Arafat, SE., M.M., Vice Rector III for student affairs Drs. Sukardi, M., Pd., Representatives from the Dean of FKIP, Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Dean of the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine, Dean of the Faculty of Saint and Technology, representatives of the Director of the Postgraduate Program, Ka. UPT Library, Ka. UPT. BSC, the ranks of the leadership in the Faculty of Engineering, including the Deputy Dean, Chair of the Study Program, permanent lecturers, all educational staff, students and alumni of the Faculty of Engineering as well as administrative apparatus of the Jejawi District and the Head of the Jejawi Village, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency (OKI). This Yudisium activity is carried out while still implementing strict health protocols such as: using masks and face shields, washing hands, keeping a distance and before entering the room it is mandatory to measure body temperature.

In this judicium, the student with the highest Grade Point Average (GPA) was obtained by Masitho Mega Maharani from the chemical engineering study program with a GPA of 3.70 with praise.

In his speech, the Dean of FT, Mr. Adiguna, ST., M.Si. congratulate the judges of the Faculty of Engineering and Dharma Bakti you have been awaited by your family and society and the country, never stop learning because learning resources are not only from lecturers and campuses, but from all problems, difficulties, the surrounding environment, also become a source of learning for Brother’s success. Love the alma mater of the UPGRIP Faculty of Engineering because with the power of love from the alumni who are scattered in various regions, it has become our capital and enthusiasm to build the UPGRIP Faculty of Engineering towards a more superior, competitive and characteristic direction in the development of science and technology.

“The Faculty of Engineering is ready to help judges when they need assistance. Hopefully the knowledge gained during the academic education process can be useful for the future of scholars, while maintaining good relations with the faculty and with alumni associations. “” Prepare yourself to be better and be able to win global competitions. We at the engineering faculty always give our best to produce good output. Besides that, the culture of quality must be put forward so that it can form a mental steel and people who have noble integrity in the era of global competition, “said Adiguna.

In addition to the graduation and inauguration of new scholars, this activity was also filled with the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) or Memorandum of Understanding between the Faculty of Engineering and the Government of Jejawi District, OKI Regency and the declaration of Jejawi Village, Jejawi District, OKI Regency as a fostered village of the Faculty of Engineering, PGRI University of Palembang. The MoA was signed by the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering Adiguna, S.T., M.Si with Head of Sub-District Jejawi Susanto, S.Pd., M.M., and witnessed directly by the Deputy Chairperson of YPLP PT PGRI, Mr. Drs. H, Djama’ani Djakfar, M. Pd., Chancellor of the PGRI Palembang University represented by the Vice Rector II for personnel and finance, Mr. Dr. Yasir Arafat, SE., M.M., CIQaR., Vice Rector III for student affairs Drs. Sukardi, M., Pd., And Head of Desa Jejawi Mr. Zulkanain, S.E.
