The government through the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (Kemendikbudristek) has a programme called Kartu Indonesia Pintar Kuliah or KIP Kuliah in 2023. The KIP-College programme is tuition assistance from the government for high school graduates who have academic potential but are financially constrained but have the achievement to continue their studies at university. This assistance applies to those who qualify through the SNBP, SNBT, and Independent Examination pathways at public and private universities. If in the verification process there are complaints from the public or files that do not match, then participants are not entitled to receive KIP Lecture.
Universitas PGRI Palembang, one of the leading private universities in South Sumatra, opened registration through the KIP Lecture pathway. In accordance with the Chancellor’s letter, the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas PGRI Palembang conducted written tests and interviews for prospective students receiving KIP Lecture on 1-4 August 2023 at the Faculty of Engineering Hall on the 2nd floor of Building D, Universitas PGRI Palembang.
The implementation of written tests and interviews on Tuesday (01/08/2023) as many as 11 participants, Wednesday (02/08/2023) as many as 10 participants, Thursday (03/08/2023) as many as 14 and Friday (04/08/2023) as many as 10 participants, a total of 45 participants in the KIP Lecture pathway Faculty of Engineering.
Obviously, if the information is gathered from sources within the organization, it will be accurate and dependable and will give more information on the group of employees in the Faculty of Engineering. As a result, on Saturday, July 29, 2023, at 10 AM WIB, the Faculty of Engineering, University of PGRI Palembang, held an online socialization for employee classes with the theme “Tips for Success while Studying While Working” in the Hall of the Faculty of Engineering, located on the second floor of Building D, Palembang PGRI University.

This activity’s goal is to enlighten potential students about tertiary institutions and entice them to choose the Faculty of Engineering at the University of PGRI Palembang as their campus of choice. The activity went over without a hitch and ended with a round of questions and answers.
Thesis is a scientific work that must be written by students as part of one of the requirements to obtain a bachelor’s degree. And to test the truth of the thesis material, it is necessary to hold a thesis trial or a comprehensive trial. Students who are allowed to take part in this thesis trial are students who have fulfilled various administrative requirements. In addition, the student has completed all courses as one of the requirements that must be taken. Students are asked to present their thesis in front of the examining lecturer. This is done to determine whether they deserve a bachelor of engineering degree (ST). While the purpose of holding a thesis trial or comprehensive trial is to assess students’ insights, abilities and academic depth, assess students’ reasoning and analytical abilities and assess students’ ability to develop theories that are in accordance with the scientific disciplines of the study program.
The Chemical Engineering Study Program, Faculty of Engineering, PGRI University Palembang held an Even Semester Thesis Session for the 2022-2023 Academic Year for three days, namely Thursday, Friday and Saturday, 20, 21 and 22 July 2023 in the Hall of the Faculty of Engineering, 2nd Floor Building D, PGRI University Palembang. A total of 22 participants took part in the comprehensive trial.

The study program accreditation form is a tool or instrument for gathering information regarding the performance of study programs at state universities, official colleges, religious colleges, and private universities in the context of quality control of all higher education institutions in Indonesia. The activity of compiling accreditation forms is one of the efforts to ensure that existing study programs can meet the quality standards set by the government through LAM Engineering.

After the opening ceremony was closed by giving souvenirs and taking photos together. Then it was continued with introductions between the student association administrators and dialogue. The visit ended after conducting a review of the Chemical Engineering laboratory and workshops owned by the Faculty of Engineering, University of PGRI Palembang.
Semester Final Examination (UAS) is an academic activity that must be carried out by every tertiary student in completing their studies, as well as a form of final course evaluation that emphasizes cognitive aspects to determine student graduation in each course. UAS is held at the end of the semester after all teaching and learning processes have been completed.
The Faculty of Engineering have carried out the Even Semester Final Examinations for the 2022/2023 Academic Year at Building D, Palembang PGRI University, which starts on Monday 3 July 2023 to 8 July 2023.
The UAS implementation is an evaluation material for students, who have attended lectures during the semester. Faculty of Engineering students who take part in the UAS implementation in an orderly manner according to the rules that have been made and run smoothly.
