Participation of Faculty of Engineering Lecturers in the Commemoration of National Technology Awakening Day

The commemoration of National Technology Awakening Day (Hakteknas) is a momentum for the nation’s children to socialise research results. Technology and innovations that have been produced by Indonesian inventors and innovators, as solutions to various problems in various sectors. The resulting innovative products are expected to encourage the nation’s independence, as well as accelerate national economic growth.

The 28th National Engineering Day 2023 was held on Thursday (10/08/2023) with the theme “Research and Innovation Talents for Golden Indonesia 2045”. Dr Nabila Aprianti, S.T as one of the lecturers at the Faculty of Engineering who is also a Postdoctoral Researcher in the field of Energy Conversion and Conservation at the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) participated as an invited guest at the event.

The event, which was a joint collaboration between Kemendikbudristek and BRIN, was held at the Soemitro Djojohadikoesoemo Auditorium, B.J Habibie Building 3rd Floor, National Research and Innovation Agency, Jalan M.H. Thamrin Number 8, Central Jakarta, attended by Minister of Education, Culture, Research and Technology Nadiem Makarim and his staff, Head of BRIN Laksana Tri Handoko and his staff, Deputy for Human Development, Society and Culture of the Ministry of National Development Planning/Bappenas, Expert Staff on Talent Management of Kemdikbudristek and his staff, Diaspora and Innovation Research Experts, Research and Innovation Top Talents, BRIN Postdoctoral Researchers, BRIN Visiting Researchers and other invited guests.

After the peak event, various supporting events will be held by Kemendikbudristek, including the Hakteknas 2023 Exhibition held from 11-13 August, Talkshow for Research Activists on 12 August, and Discussion Forum for Stakeholders in Research on 14 August.
